About us

metrologx GmbH is a start-up founded in mid 2018.

 

Although the company is young, the team has a healthy mix of young professionals providing solutions utilizing latest IT technology and senior experts with a long track record of IT, Lean and Operation Excellence consulting projects in manufacturing and supply chain. 

 

We outgrew the roots of bulheller-partner ingenieure, formerly known as bulheller consulting, founded in 1994. We are an advanced Amazon Webservices Technology Partner and our journey adapting cloud-technology utilizing AWS infrastructure started already in 2010 when members of our core team launched the award winning Software as a Service framework factoryworkx for quality data acquisition and production performance tracking.

 

 

Karlheinz Bulheller - Managing Director and Co-Founder

Karlheinz studied automotive engineering at the university of applied sciences in Munich. He started his career with Mercedes-Benz AG and has more than 20 years of experience in green-field assembly plants, automotive projects in various roles. He is an entrepreneur and co-founder of other companies like in2p GmbH and abat LLC. Karlheinz loves analytics and machine learning. He is also in cars and bicycles und he enjoys to commute to work with his Brompton if not camping as a roof tent nomad all over Europe.

 

Hartmut Hitz - Co-Founder

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Telecommunications. Hartmut is since 1983 in leading positions with automotive manufacturers and suppliers in charge for the design and optimization of data centers, logistics and manufacturing process chains and their IT applications.

 

Kurt started his career as a building services engineer mainly in research and automotive facilities projects. His more than 20 years’ experience in project management mostly in production related and lean manufacturing consulting projects around the globe provide the stable foundation for the task forces and supplier development assignments he has been executing successfully in the last years.

 

Manuel is the brain behind factoryworkx. His algorithmns and methods implemented promise speed the users rely on.

Oliver is responsible for our AWS infrastructure. He is a solution finder and source of ideas with 15 years of experience in the field of IT infrastructure and web technologies. He is a passionate hobby photographer, Vietnam traveler and football maniac.

 

Thu got her Bachelor of Science in economic computer science and is responsible for the security of our infrastructure and solutions in the cloud. She likes to cook and enjoys to travel in Europe and Vietnam.

 

Daniel is the responsible architect for our IIoT solutions and for App development.
